In memory of
Mary Dell Grey
April 5, 2013
To Sarah and her family: Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your dear Mother. I hope the beautiful memories you have of her will sustain you during this very difficult time. When I spoke with Mrs. Winfield about three weeks prior to her death, I told her that she always has a smile in her beautiful voice. We had such a pleasant conversation. I know she will be sorely missed, yet never forgotten.

Your Mom was such a special lady! Kind, genuine, vivacious with a lively and lovely sense of humor. She was such a good neighbor for many years to my Mom. I think they shared a special bond since they both became widows within such a close time frame. While we are distraught with the loss of our friend, we know we can never ease the loss you are now feeling. But I do know that time will help, and the certainty that your Mom is now with your Dad, her beloved Bobby, must surely bring some comfort. She loved you all...and we do too. Sending our prayers and deepest sympathies,

I've only known Ted briefly through a mutual friend, but his huge generousity towards others in need inspires and must be rooted in a loving family. My thoughts are with him and his family as they recall the joy in their lives together and the sorrow in losing someone they love.

It was just the other day my thoughts went to your Mom. Wishing to let her know she was a good influence on me as a good example of a loving Mother and wife. I know I tried her patience at times as Beth and I played. I can see her now looking out the window at Elon Rd. I also remember her laughter and teasing your Dad. She was ever faithful to God and Jesus.
Sandra called me a few minutes ago to let me know about your Mother.
God's peace be with all of you. Hope you have been in good health and with Jesus by your side. Take Care, Glenna Burkarth Moeller and Kevin Moeller

To the Winfield children:
Your father, Robert, hired me in my first position with Reynolds Metals Company as receptionist at Styling and Design back in '77. He was a wonderful person. I am sorry to read that he, too, has passed away. I remember Robert and Jean and the love they had for one another. Most days they went to lunch together. She would pick him up and they left the building hand in hand and returned the same way. They seemed so happy and youthful together.
Back then I was young and single, so I used them as an example of the type of marriage I would want to have. They were truly my inspiration.
I'm sure that you miss your parents, but I feel certain that they are together now--holding hands in heaven.
God bless you,
Alice (Wyatt) Martin
