Jeanette Groot

GROOT, Jeanette December 10, 1939 - August 19, 2008 On August 19, 2008, Jeanette Groot of Edmonton passed away peacefully to be with the Lord at the age of 68 after a lengthy battle with lung disease. Jeanette is survived by her loving husband, Jack; children, Peter (Michelle) of Edmonton and their children, Kyle, Adam and Emelia; Robert (Lois) of Grande Prairie and their children, Ryan and Aimee; Debra (Christopher) Duffett of Edmonton and their children, Erin, Tyson, Ethan and Morgan; Brenda (Garry) Coates of Edmonton and their children, Nadeya, Kyle, Kayleigh and Kyrstie. She is also survived by brothers and sisters: Ann Brandsma, Hank (Tina) Brandsma, Tina (Peter) Terlaan, Ted Brandsma, Oeds (Hennie) Brandsma, Herb (Ruby) Brandsma, Renie Bos, Nell Brandsma and many family and friends in The Netherlands and Canada. Jeanette is predeceased by her infant daughter, Sharon Elaine. Visitation will take place at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, (10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton) on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Private family interment at Westlawn Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service will be held at the Orthodox Reformed Church, 11610 - 95A Street, Edmonton on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend John Groot officiating.
