1954 - 2011
Peacefully on Friday, August 26. She will be sadly missed by her sons Christopher (Tinisha) and Joey, and grandson Isayah. Cherished daughter of Guy Chabot and Joan Sardella. Loving sister to Rick (Joanne) and aunt to Jennifer (Robert Forbes) and Jeffrey. Step-daughter to Catherine Chabot. Visitation to take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources, DDO (514-685-3344) on Saturday, September 3 from 1 to 4 p.m. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers at the oncology unit of the Lakeshore General Hospital and the West Island Palliative Care Residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Island Palliative Care Residence.

My deepest condolences go out to the Chabot family and my cousins Chris and Joey. It saddens me that so much time has passed since I last saw Jeanne, although it seems like yesterday that she was sharing her caring smile and loving hugs with my brothers and I. I feel blessed to have had such a wonderful person as my godmother, and such a kind and nurturing aunt during my childhood in Dollard. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts. Love you always. Our deepest sympathy's Rick to you any your entire family. Your sister was always so much fun. I will always remember the time we spent in Montreal. Especially the time we had playing with silly string, and stayed up all night and watch the sun come up. These will always be cherished memories.

Heaven called back its angel Jeanne. I had worked in the same small office as Jeanne many many years ago and have kept in touch with her over the years. Once or twice a year after she left, the group of us would get together for dinner to get caught up in each others lives. We were more than work collegues, we were friends. I'm going to miss her smiling face and ready laugh.

Jeanne was a beautiful lady with a big heart. We met a few years back as Mary Kay consultants and I will remember her smile that always light up a room and her heart that was always giving.
