Jeanne Frechette Obituary
Born in Fall River daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret E. (Malloy) Frechette, she was a lifelong resident of the area and was a 1947 graduate of the former Dominican Academy. She also graduated from the former Thibodeau's Business School.
She was employed as a legal assistant in the City of Fall River Law Department for 19 years, retiring in 1984, and had previously worked in law offices in the Fall River and New Bedford area. Jeanne was formerly a communicant of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish and St. Bernard Parish, and had served as a Eucharistic Minister in both.
She is survived by several cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Tues. Nov. 9, 2010 at 9:30 AM, in St. Margaret Mary Chapel of the Catholic Memorial Home. Visitation will be held at Catholic Memorial Home 2446 Highland Ave. Fall River one hour prior to her mass. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Catholic Memorial Home 2446 Highland Ave. Fall River, MA. 02720 Arrangements are in the care of the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE 178 Winter St. Fall River.

I worked with Jeanne in the 80's at the law Offices of Bolger&Murray. We had lots of laughs and I have fond memories of her and her mother. She was a very classy woman that will be missed.

I was saddened to learn of Jeanne's passing. I have fond memories of our discussions when she would visit her sister Loretta at Sarah Brayton. She was a lovely lady who always had a smile and a kind word. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
