Jean was an impeccable lady of grace, I always looked forward to just saying hi or cleaning her driveway with the neighbors with my snowplow. I could always count on Jean for advice or a smile in the good and bad times. This block will be a little less lighter now that we have lost a dear friend and neighbor. Rest in peace , love always, Steve

Jean was a lady of impeccable character, always close to our family though the good and yes the bad times , I COULD ALWAYS count on her advice or even just to say hello while I would use my snow plow on her driveway, or I would call her to just say hi. Jeans passing will leave Ellery Ave a little less joyful and this block has lost a great neighbor ,friend. Love always and Rest in peace,
God bless. Steve

I will always remember the times we spent together at 13th Avenue School. You gave me the strength to continue the quest for greatness for our children at 13th. You will remain in my heart, my friend.

Jeanne was an 8th grade teacher at 14th Ave School when I started teaching. Throughout my 31 years in the Newark School System I met up with Jeanne. She was always a source of helpful information and very caring with adults and students. It was my privilege and pleasure to have known her. Sincerely, JoAnne Polonsky
