As an All Care Hospice Volunteer and
Eucharistic Minister, I had the distinct pleasure and privilege of
visiting Jeannette on only three
Friday mornings prior to her passing. Each time I came to her room at the
Prospect House, she would happily
greet me. We would pray together,
and she would devoutly receive Her Lord
in Holy Communion. We chatted about
her younger years spent in Orient Heights and she always liked to remenisce about her loving, close-knit
Italian Family. She was a doll and a
lady. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
