I am so sad to hear of Susan's passing. I had the great pleasure of working and teaching with her over the years at DOL. She was such a gem - always sweet, kind, and generous. Next week is our Counsel's meeting and Susan will be missed.

Susan will be remembered by many as the best co-worker anyone could have. She set and held herself to the highest level of professionalism, and she diligently worked to secure protections for workers. Susan distinguished herself as a caring and thoughtful lawyer, and she shared her time and intellect generously with all of us. She was a role model for all of us, as both a lawyer and a parent. She will be greatly missed by many in DOL.

At a loss for words to describe how wonderful and sweet Susan was to me (and all of her coworkers) over the years. We have missed your smile and cheer in the office. I pray for some comfort for your family as I know they are feeling your loss so deeply.

Some of my fondest memories of Susan included visiting her, Bob, Jackie and Dan-the-man at Unc and Bubba's in Absecon. Susan was always smiling and laughing, making you immediately feel welcome. She and Bob were just as decent as they come. Their Slingshot on the deck of their home on Easter was an absolute riot. Both she and her husband graced this world and made it better with their presence. I'm blessed to have known them. Prayers from my mom and I will keep coming for Jackie, Dan, Iva and P.J. We are so sorry for your loss.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of a wonderful person and fellow colleague. I worked with Susan for a few years at the DOL Solicitor's Office. Susan always had a smile on her face and a can do attitude. She will be missed by all.

I am so sorry and I extend my deepest sympathy to her children and the rest of Susan's family. I worked with Susan from the time she joined our office in Philadelphia, and we continued that relationship directly and at a distance for the past 30+ years. She was an excellent attorney and supportive colleague, and she was an even greater friend. I have fond memories of working and socializing with Susan, including being at her wedding and attending work conferences. We talked on the phone about our work and our families, as wells as the pain and challenges she faced so admirably. With our children so close in age, Susan always asked about my boys and kept me up-to-date on her son and daughter. I will miss her terribly, but am so glad to have known her and to consider her a dear friend.

My deepest condolences to Susan's children, family, and friends. I had the privilege of working with Susan at DOL as well, and she was one of the hardest working, kindest people I've ever met. No matter how busy she was with her own duties, she always stopped to answer questions and help out. She was gracious and loving beyond measure, and I will miss her for the rest of my days. May she rest in peace.

It's very sad to hear of Susan's passing. She was a wonderful and gracious person whom I'm honored to have known. Her goodwill toward me while preparing a case for hearing gave me one of the shining moments of my career with MSHA. She was a great attorney and an awesome mentor, but even a better person. May she rest in peace.

Susan,
I am in disbelief. I had no idea. I am so sorry. I will never forget co-teaching with you at the Mine Academy, teasing you about your love for wine and thanking you for laughing at my bad jokes. The core group of teachers, including you, remains one of the joys of my life. Rest in peace my friend. With all my love.
Your good buddy,
Les

I am so sorry to hear that Susan passed away. We worked together in the 80s and was one of the first people to befriend me when I started at the Dept. of Labor. As an attorney she was outstanding. As a person, she was everything that you would want in a friend. I continued to talk to Susan over the years after I moved to Kansas City and she would always ask about my daughters and talk proudly about her own children and her husband. She will always be remembered.

I am saddened at the thought that Susan's light has gone out. We worked together for a few of my last years at the US Department of Labor. She was always cheerful, professional and friendly. Susan never seemed to let being an excellent lawyer go to her head. She will be missed. My prayers are with her family and friends. Peace.

To a courageous lady I was proud to call my cousin. We shared a lot of great memories from growing up in Absecon and Pleasantville. I'll fondly remember the fun times including you being my bridesmaid. I hope you are at peace and I know heaven has a special place for you. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. You will be greatly missed by so many but never forgotten by any.
