I was so sorry to hear about Jeannie's passing. How lucky you were to have lived such a life with someone as beautiful as she. Please know my thoughts are with you.

On behalf of the arrington family (johnnie mae, kenyatta, rhonda, yolonda, ezzard jr., katina and shauntia.) We would like to send our deepest sorrows to the Massee and patterson family for their loss. Jeannette was always kind to our family. She was a woman who didn't mind giving. Her heart was bigger than the world and because of that we would like to say may she rest peacefully amen.

I am so sad to hear of Jeannie's passing. I was in her class at Bartram. She attended our class reunion (30th)and it was great seeing her again.

On returning to Orange Park and my favorite hang-outs after nearly 15 years .. Jeannie and I knew only that we were acquinted 'somehow - somewhere in time'. Yet - with her sweet, welcoming nature .. it was as though we had spoken the day before.

That was Jeannette Massee Patterson !!

Jeannie, like yourselves, had that tender, beautiful soul which is so very uncommon. Mere words scarcely convey the energy and boundless ways her generosity of spirit touched all who crossed her path. May God grant you serenity in knowing her love is eternally sealed in your hearts.

The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear. We share your grief. I feel like I have lost a caring sister, Bill and family I pray in time the love and memory stays, and the hurt subsides. We will never forget!

I've got fond memories of Jeanne from high school and also of her during our shared WBO years. She was a good lady and we'll miss her.

Jeannie was a happy shining spirit at Bartram and always met us with a smile. She will be remembered by us as a wonderful example of a loving and caring person.

Bill and Caleb, What a shock for me to read of Jeannie's passing. With the reading my mind went into fast action remembering oh! so many fantastic nights at our favorite Hilltop ! Just this summer while in Ireland all of our friends were talking about their trip here and the most memorable night at the Hilltop! They thought we our did their famous pub's! I am so sorry I did not know Jeannie was ill so that I might have communicated with her. I will fondly recall her beautiful, always so welcoming smile and all the good times we shared. My special love and condolences to your dear mom!

She tried to use the too little time given her worthily and make life more pleasant. She was a great and loyal friend. The happiness which was her creation will live. It will still be difficult to come to terms with her departure. May compassion join those she left behind.
