DAUGHERTY, Patricia Ann age 73, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at her home. She was born April 19, 1935 in Caryville, TN, the daughter of Fred & Mamie (Everett) Lowe. Patricia was a member of the Ladies Group at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bleve Daugherty; and her brothers, Charles, Everett & Cecil Lowe. Survivors include her children, Pam Elkins, John Daugherty, & Renee (Trever) McGhee-Holtrey, all of Dayton; grandchildren, Denise, Daniel, Matthew, Sarah, Travis, Trent, Heather, Trevor, & Chris; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Clay Lowe of Dayton; sisters, Willa Jean McDonald of Florida and Sarah Lowe of West Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 4953 Hamlin Dr., Dayton, OH 45414 with Pastor Melvin King & Pastor Perry Blue officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of services. Pat was a special neighbor. She will be missed. I saw her Christmas eve she was soooooooo happy about the piano. The ability to go out and play when the mood hit her. She played us a tune, it was to be our final good bye on this shore. I have assurance I'll visit with her again in Heaven. What a blessing her memory will always be to our family! Please know we are here if there is anything we can do.
