So sorry to hear of her passing. We listened to her every Sunday morning on Willie's Roadhouse after church. I liked listening to the backstories of the people she interviewed. I never knew her personally, but felt like she could be a real friend. RIP, sweet lady. Someday, I'll really get to meet

I Loved Jeannie. Some of my favorite songs of hers are "Anyone Who Knows What Love Is" "Lucky Ladies" "Can I Sleep In Your Arms" "Farm In Pensyltucky" and her duets with Jack Greene. Jeannie & Jack had one of the Best shows on the road at one time. R.I.P. Jeannie. Donald Ewert Milwaukee

I was Jeannie Seely's and Jack Greene's publicist during the singers' Top Billing agency days.
Jeannie Seely broke barriers for women in country music and was always supportive of us. During her only appearance on a local Nashville TV call-in show, a few years back (championing the Grand Ole Opry Trust Fund), I called in to express how kind and patient she had been with me the first time I interviewed her (over a half-century before).
I knew next to nothing about country music at the time and likely asked her a lot of stock questions. (The was well before the advent of the Internet and the Country Music Foundation Library had nowhere near the resources it has today).
Jeannie responded by complimenting me and noting that she had kept up with my career advances and accomplishments, as I had hers. Jeannie wanted to make sure the program emcee and the audience knew that she was not alone in making contributions to, and fighting the misogyny of, Music Row.
I will miss, but always be grateful for, time spent with Jeannie backstage at the Grand Ole Opry. There wasn't a time she didn't teach me by example.

We are fans from Saint John NB Canada and we met Jeannie a few times as we were visiting Nashville. She was a wonderful lady and so friendly to us. We enjoyed her pictures each day of the Cumberland River and we would listen to Sunday's with Seely. We are going to miss this remarkable lady. Until we meet again. Howard and Darlene Linton.
