Jed Henderson Obituary
Jed A. Henderson, 47, former resident of Ashland, Ore., was the victim of a homicide in La Grande, Ore. He passed away on Sept. 6, 2008. He is survived by his children, Catlin and James; father, John Henderson, of Texas; mother, Leonora Henderson, of California; sister, Gail Milina, her husband Steve, nephew and niece, Derek Nieman, and Brooke Nieman, of California, and by two lifelong friends who were like brothers to him: Jerry Steffler, of California, and Frank Klug, of Oregon. After serving in the U.S. Army for 11 years, Jed earned a B.S. degree in Environmental Studies from Southern Oregon University. Jed was an avid outdoorsman and loved the Rogue and the Trinity Alps.
Memorial services in La Grande are being planned.
