went fishing with Jeff once and played in a band with him. He was one of the gifts from God to us. I cherish his memories.

Jeff was my first guitar teacher when I was 12 years old, 33 years ago when I took lessons at the Drinking Gourd music store. I remember seeing him play live when I was a teenager. He was always so supportive and inspiring. I have very fond memories talking to Jeff about our life passion--music. I'll never stop playing. Thank you Jeff. -Brad

I did not have the privilege to know Jeff well but I knew of him for many years. I am a good friend of his family, especially his brother Steve and Mother Gertie. Each time I encountered Jeff he was upbeat, articulate, friendly and obviously gifted with great intelligence, musical ability, and a lot of soul. His work with charities is an inspiration to all of us to reach out and help others. I hope you have a wonderful ride into the next phase Jeff, you surely earned it.

There will never be another person on this planet quite like my Uncle Jeff. I remember sitting in his studio at the ripe age of 12, and him showing me why scales are important, handing me a guitar and setting me free on a backing track. It was a moment that set me free forever. I cannot recall every moment, and I deeply regret that out last conversation wasn't more recent. I can honestly say that I cannot imagine having a more solid foundation and influence in life. I will miss him dearly, and never play a note the same way.

My condolences to Diane and the whole family my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jeff will be missed by everyone he has touched so many lives and hearts and will never be forgotten.

I can´t begin to think of a world without you in it Jeff... simply a heartache I and so many others now face. There are maybe a handful of people in the world when you meet that you experience something magical- You My Archie are one of those special few! My thoughts and prayers go out to your family especially Diane & your Mama. May their hearts be eased by knowing how much you are loved.

My heart is heavy and will always have an empty space. Thank you for everything, I hope I made you proud.

Bar none, the most true and decent person I've ever known. It feels like the world's soul has a hole in it that Jeff once filled. We take comfort in being members of the huge extended family of people who knew and loved Jeff. While we are all mourning and missing him, nothing compares to the joy found within the memories of time spent with him.

To Diane and Jeff's family, we send our love and deepest sympathy, and you are in our hearts throughout this difficult time.

There really are not enough words to describe Jeff and the way he touched the lives of so many. We are so grateful to be able to listen to his music and remember all the joy he brought to so many. We miss you. God has an incredible angel. See you on the other side dear friend.

I have known Jeff since 1989. He was very kind and humble. Loved his family and friends and his love for all types of music was outstanding. He will be sadly missed but at the same time the suffering of health issues are over and now walks with our Lord and God In heaven. Sing it loud and proud above the clouds my dearest friend. My prayers for Dian and the family friends. He made so many wonderful memories for many he will never be forgotten. With much Love and Respect.

I have known and been friends with Jeff since I was 23 yrs old. His voice will always be in my heart and memories. He was the sweetest man and loved his family and friends. Very understanding and humble for the life God gave him. He will be dearly missed. My love and support to His wife Dian and all of his family and friends.
