I was shocked to hear the call from Lance that Jeff had passed away. I am sorry that I didnt make the memorial service. i worked with Jeff back at Seismic Data Search many years ago. I still work just 1/2 mile away from the old office in Houston. My heart goes out to wife and children.

jeff and i first met in sharpstown .
we both played on the hornets in ( pee wee league ) he was a catcher & pitcher.
would see him around from time to time and he would always say hello.

I am stunted this morning to discorvy the news of my friend Jeff, we go back many many years. I have fished, hunted and work along with Jeff on several oil and gas projects. I hold his friendship dear, we have had so many laughs together, great stories, and times when we were together.Our dads work with one another as well, back in the 50's. So we shared alot of fun talking about our fathers. I will miss Jeff dearly, never forgeting our time we had. What a wonderful man Jeff is, his spirit will live on with all of us. God Bless his wife, Janet and children my thought and prayers are with you.

Prayers and condolences for the Autrey Family. I worked with Jeff on the yearbook staff at Sharpstown High School and I have many fond memories of him and his always happy smile.

Jeff was a great guy from a really good family. We lived next door to the Autreys on Lugary Dr in Sharpstown. Great people. Very sorry to hear about Jeff and wish the very best for all his family.

I was so saddened to hear the news about Jeff. He was such a wonderful person and I really enjoyed spending time with you guys when we were neighbors in Tiki. I remember all the crawfish boils and get togethers and how welcomed you and Jeff aways made us feel. I still can't believe he is gone. We are so sorry for your loss....Jeff will be missed!!! My memories of Jeff are primarily from our jr. high and high school days. He had such a great personality and everyone loved him....our paths crossed again as adults since we both stayed close to where we grew up. Jeff was always good to me. I remember when I first started organizing the Houston Geological Society Skeet Shoot, in 1994. Jeff was right there with a SEI sponsor donation, and a squad to help fill the event. He will be truly be missed.

I had the pleasure of bird hunting with Jeff many times over the last 10-15 years and thoroughly enjoyed his humor and sharp shooting. He was a great guy to spend an afternoon hunt with and was the ultimate gentleman. He will be missed by all who knew him.
