Jeffrey Cothran

Jeffrey Cothran TAYLORSVILLE - Jeffrey Allen Cothran, age 56, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly at his residence, on Sat. Feb. 21, 2015. Born to Bobbie Fisher and Mary Austin Cothran in Chaves County, New Mexico, on April 26, 1958, he was previously employed by Paragon Films Inc. He will be remembered as a loving family man and NASCAR and wrestling fan and enjoyed the shooting sports. He was of the Baptist faith and had attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Gail Lynn Cothran. He is survived by his mother, and two sons, Taylor Huffsetetler, of Simpsonville, SC, and Josh Cothran, of Taylorville, as well as one daughter, Holly Tollison, of Simpsonville, SC. He has one sister, Tracey Icenhour, of Hiddenite, and one brother, Wayne Cothran, also of Hiddenite. Jeffrey has four grandchildren, Kaylie Huffsetetler, Kevin Huffsetetler, Carson Elison, and Chason Tollison. There are a number of nieces and nephews and a special friend, Reba Ferguson, of Taylorsville. Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with funeral services at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Military honors will be offered by DAV Chapters 84 and 6. In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
