Judy,
Like so many of my classmates from Ocala High School that knew Jeff, I am saddened at this dark time knowing that he has passed from this life and left you and your family. He had so many friends, even from high school, that thought he was such a great guy. He was the big, athletic kid that everybody always wanted on their team.
My condolences to you and your children. May God bless you and give you strength during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Buddy Clark - OHS 65

Jeff and Judy were like my parents away from home when I was in college... One of my favorite memories was one Easter in college at the Curchin home, hunting for eggs with money and scratch off tickets in them with Heather and Chad...
And there's always the laughs at the "throwing oranges" story :) ...
Jeff also helped me like coffee for the first time (he taught me how to fill it up with cream and sugar!) at a Delta Gamma parent's weekend - when he called my dad in NJ and told him that he should have been there :)
He loved his kids and grandkids so much, even when he drove them crazy :) His antics will be missed by so many!!
Prayers are being said for all of you. I wish I could be there tomorrow - sending hugs from NJ!!

I became friends with Jeff through my father Frank Newman when Jeff was his financial adviser. After my father passed away Jeff took my sister and I under his wing and made the inheritance process smooth. Through that Jeff became my friend and trusted adviser. Jeff was a mountain of a man but was also a very gentle giant. Jeff always had a smile on his face and never let troubles get to him. No matter what the issue Jeff would make it better. Often times he was a mentor to me even if he never knew it. The world has lost a great man. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I have lost a friend. When I moved from Brandon up to the "snowy north"--(Jeff's words), he was still right there to answer any questions and give me confidence. I knew that I had a smart and kind guy looking out for me. My investments were in good hands. The first 5 or 10 minutes were always wonderfully devoted to family. He loved his Heather and Chad and his grandchildren and his wonderful Judy and I would catch him up on my Jennifer and granddaughter, Emily. Then, we'd be ready to talk about whatever. Even as I write this, I cannot believe he is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Fondly, Judy Jester
