Jeffrey John "Jeff" Dalin

Jeffrey "Jeff" John Dalin, 56, of Ashtabula, passed away on July 21, 2023, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Jeff was the owner of Nilad Machine, where his passion for designing and building shone through in every project he touched. His mechanically driven mind was always hard at work, perfecting everything he created. Beyond his work, Jeff enjoyed taking his Ford Mustang to the racetrack, exploring hydrogen-powered motors, and going on nature walks with his beloved wife, Michele, and their pack of fur babies. He shared these joys with his son, Joshua (Lina), who worked alongside him at Nilad Machine.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife, Michele, devoted son Joshua (Lina) Dalin, his mother Judith Dalin, mother and father-in-law Linda and Ron Scott, sisters Darlene Dalin and Michaele Goodson, brothers Ronald Dalin, Ronald Bell, and Christopher Dalin, brothers-in-law Mitchell Scott and Mike Scott, as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald K. Dalin Sr., who passed away from cancer in 2013. In accordance with Jeff's wishes for no gloomy days, no funeral or calling hours will be held. A memorial was held at a later date to celebrate the life of a man who brought light and innovation to all who knew him.
