Jeff was a wonderful soul and good friend during our innocent high school years. Fond memories of playing with "Egg" and Jeff Isaacs almost every day after school and during the summer months. Football, whiffle ball, home run derby, street hockey... you name it, we played it!

You brought great joy into my life.

You will be missed!

It wasn´t long after Jeff´s family moved into the neighborhood (into the old Lasser home) that we became friends. It was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. Jeff would walk to my home before school and we often had breakfast together and laughed hysterically as we watched the Three Stooges on a tiny black and white TV in the breakfast room. We walked to middle school and high school together and would meet up with friends (David Conover, Jim Hurlbert and others) along the way. We were sports fanatics and enjoyed playing basketball, football and baseball in my backyard or at other friend´s homes. We also loved playing sports games such as electric football, Strat-O-Matic baseball or tabletop hockey. We attended Pirates, Penguins and Steelers games, too. Those were the days! Jeff and I went our separate ways to college, but kept in touch by phone or mail.
I recently crossed an email Jeff sent me three years ago about some Jethro Tull tickets I scored for a concert in Pittsburgh when we were in high school. He said the show had a profound affect on him to that very day. Jeff always wrote so eloquently and with purpose. Here is what he wrote in August 2019: "I hope you share this memory about something that deeply affected me. To be allowed to witness this incredible artistry has really stuck with me over all the years. It was a truly magical couple of hours. Just WOW!"
I will miss him and our ongoing correspondence about life, family, music and sports. He was a true friend. My sincere condolences to Jeff´s brothers Jon and Robert and to Jeff´s children, grandchildren and other family.

loved spending time as school kids at jeff´s house. we could hike up to jeff isaacs´ house or over to jim rhodes´ house. first time i ever had karo syrup after a saturday night sleepover. and, i always remember his dad´s workbench; how he nailed empty mayo jar tops on the underside of cabinets above so he could unscrew a jar full of nails or screws with one hand. the `eganhouse´ (from recall which has a bit of patina now) a great MCModern classic architectural style. thanks for the memories jeff. condolences to the whole family. we´ll see ya on the other side.

Jeff and I went to school together from Kindergarten at Foster Elementary in Mt. Lebanon until graduation from Upper St. Clair High School. Because our last names were so close, he sat in front of me in home room for many years. He started playing violin at Foster, and became quite the "chick magnet", as well as an accomplished musician. A gentle soul.
Please accept my most heartfelt condolences.

I remember growing up, that my brother, despite the four year age difference, would let me play wiffle ball with him and his buddies. I don´t know many high schoolers who would want to hang out with his pimply 13 year old brother. Safe passage brother ...
