A long sad year for your family, friends, colleagues, patients and your students. I am sure Jeff, you are in Heaven, instructing all on safe and effective means to treat pain. Rest well. AMDG

Not only do the good die young, but so it would seem the best do as well. Jeff has directly and indirectly touched countless lives and because of his tireless efforts at working with students and post grads, his beauty will continue for many many years.
I don't know what it is about pain medicine that brings so many people with wonderful senses of humor but Jeff typified the upbeat, positive and wonderfully hilarious attitudes-something we all need given the personal and professional stresses we all have accepted as parts of our lives. During some of the most difficult times we have lived through over the last decade, without fail, Jeff would be the most positive, gracious and energetic persone not only in the room, but like witihn 100 miles of the room. His smile was and always will be the memory I cherish most.
Finally, I had the honor to work with Jeff on numerous projects. Our opioid calculator featured on Practical Pain managements web site was recently cited as being among the most complete available on the web.

We who knew him were blessed. The world has been graced by his presence and people in pain pain will for generations benefit not only from his work and but by those students of his carrying on his ideas, ideals and if we are lucky, his wit and charm.

Jeff lived a full life. As The Members of the Society of Jesus (AKA the Jesuits) would conclude, to help assuage our grief our pain at such a tragic loss as a friend, mentor, researcher and teacher, he exemplified the ancient sentiment, Ad Majorom Dei Gloriam.

So saddened by this news. Dr Fudin was my preceptor at the VA when I was in pharmacy school. He was a great mentor and a true advocate for chronic pain patients. He will be missed.

I am deeply saddened by Jeff's passing. He is a good man and represented the best of what we can aspire to be and accomplish personally and professionally. God's speed to you my friend and God's care and love to your family.

His memory will live on - his profound impact on the profession will never be forgotten! He will be missed - but I know he's smiling down on all of us. Jeff - thanks for being a colleague, friend and sharing your amazing talent at our wedding (2000). Sending love and prayers to Robin and the family.

Learning today of Jeff's passing. A fellow NFA music Dept musician, I recall Jeff in the band room at NFA. I am saddened by his far-too-early demise but bolstered by his remarkable career. Blessings to his family and friends.

Robin, it has been years....i am so very sorry to hear of Jeffrey´s passing. You two were the first adult couple I met when we worked at Delmar PT. I will forever remember his laugh, your 4 beautiful children but most of all how much love you had for each other. I am so very sorry for your heartache. Please extend my condolences to your children.

I was fortunate enough to benefit from Jeff's expertise at the Stratton VA hospital. The world has lost a true mensch. May his memory be a blessing.
