Jeffrey “Jeff” Charles Gallman, 56, of Calhoun, Georgia died Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
He was born on November 9, 1966, in Rome, Georgia, to the son of the late Eddie Joe and Joan Carden Gallman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, C.B. and Geneva Carden, Ed and Stella Gallman.
Jeff was a member of Meadowdale Baptist Church. He was a community coach for the Sonoraville High School tennis team and a graduate of the University of Georgia. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tabitha Black Gallman; daughter, JoAnna Gallman; son, Ben (Ariel) Gallman; brother, Eddie Joe (Susan) Gallman Jr.; nieces, Emma Gallman, Abbey Gallman; nephew, E.J. Gallman.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Meadowdale Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 1:00pm at Meadowdale Baptist Church with Pastor Drew Startup, Dr. Steven Pearson, and Rev. Ray Reece officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Coty Stanley, Calob Stanley, Jonathan Rickett, Eddie Joe Gallman III, and William Rickett. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Sonoraville tennis team and former members, Steven Moss, Tony Moss, Hunter Moss.
