Jeffrey Randall Karp, of New York City, 70 years old passed away on January 4,2022 .
Born 12/11/1951 to Conad & Flora Karp in Toledo, Ohio. Jeff graduated from Whitmer High School, attended University of Toledo, then went on to Harvard Law School graduating in 1977.
Jeff loved baseball, rock & roll, had a passion for 1st edition books, collected sports memorable, and eclectic art. People remember Jeff as friendly, happy, witty and fun.
Jeff practiced real estate law in New York City beginning 1978. He was General Counsel at Sylvan Lawrence ( one of the original Forbes 400) for 20 years. The last 8 years Jeff was a skillful attorney at the Law Offices of Navid Aminzadeh until October 2021.
He is survived by: sister Barbara Karp Travers, niece Liz Gilbert, nephew Matt Travers.

Jeffrey had an unattended cremation.

Jeffrey was a true good soul. His passing leaves a hole in so many hearts. I miss you.

I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I often thought about him. He was a terrific person who always made us laugh! May the love you shared carry you through.

I didn´t know Jeffrey, but by chance read his son´s sweet, captivating baseball-esque tribute to him, and just now his wife´s radiant offering. A life beautifully lived. We hound all be so lucky. My hat off to Mr. Karp and his family.
