I honestly don't know what to say. For all these years, I have been saying to myself I need to get ahold of Jeffrey. But I didn't. People tried to contact me to let me know, but they couldn't. Jeffery filled a large part of my young life. He was funny, intelligent, generous, and kind. I will miss him more now than I ever have.

Jeff...or JK as we knew him best...was one of my closest cronies back in the days of our W&M times. He was always a good companion and I already miss reminiscing with him over some of our craziest exploits. He was one of the very few friends I've known who was always up for a new adventure and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Rest in peace, old pal.

Jeff and I worked at DMAS together for several years. I don't think I remember a time that he did not make me laugh or smile. He was a good man with a good heart. Rest In Peace my friend.

I met Jeff in junior high and continued to call him a friend to this day. His wit, his intelligence, his kindness, especially towards animals, made him a special person to all who knew him.

Jeff was one of the most gentle and kind souls that has ever graced this world. His great heart and compassion made the way easier for all. He could not save the world but he did all he could to help those who could not help themselves. Immediately to mind comes his precious cocker, Duncan. I like to think that when Jeff went home, Duncie was there wagging his tail and smiling, happy to be again with the best friend in the world. “Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet prince;
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ”

Jeff, I just wore the cat necklace the other day you bought me from a street vendor downtown. You adopted 2 cats and a dog from a rescue group I worked with - you had such a kind heart. I pray Dash will be cared for as I know how much you loved him.

Jeff was one of the kindest people I know. He was a dear friend who could always make me laugh. We shared an admiration for all things related to the British royal family and enjoyed discussing our research with each other. Although I seldom saw Jeff after he went to work at Xerox, we remained close through emails. I still can't believe he is gone; I miss him very much and think of him often.

I will certainly miss Jeffrey or JK as he was also known to many of his college friends. I am so glad that a group of old high school friends got together in May and that he was at the high school reunion in the fall. Jeffrey had a great mind and seemed to know a little bit about everything, with great recall for facts and figures. I see that Paige used the first two words that came to my mind when describing him: "gentle" and "caring." He was always understated and kind, sympathetic to those less fortunate or facing adversity. He had a great outlook on life, and it is so sad that he is no longer with us.

Jeff will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a great cook, and a good conversationalist, and we enjoyed some fun tit for tat discussions about current events over the years. I met Jeff when his brother married my sister, and I've felt like a part of his family ever since. He hated to have his picture taken, but would occasionally let me snap one or two every now and then at family gatherings. My thoughts and prayers are with Pop Kibler, MM and Frances, and my sweet nieces, Christine, Gail and Diane and their respective families. Jeff, you left us way too soon, my friend, but I know you are now in the arms of your loving mother, Ida, who passed away last year, and in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The special memories of times shared with family and friends will live on in our hearts forever. RIP, my friend.

Jeff and I grew up together in the Glen Allen area, and we truly enjoyed a wonderful childhood surrounded by family and friends. We went to the same schools from grades 7-12, and Jeff could always be counted on to be the "fun" one in any group. He had a wide circle of friends and enjoyed his high school years. We went to different colleges and then moved to different states, but I always felt a special bond and attachment to this great cousin and friend. We stayed in touch through email and enjoyed some great high-school reunions with wonderful Hermitage friends.
Jeff had a wonderful, loving family, and he will be missed. He was a gentle, caring man who will be remembered and loved by his family and friends.
Rest in peace, sweet Jeff.
