The abundant love and support for our family the past 2 weeks has been tremendous! There is no doubt that Jeff was a great friend to many and much loved. My family greatly appreciates all the kind words and comfort shown to us. I loved seeing all my "big brothers" and your support and devotion is unending. We will miss Jeff, and never forget him or all the lives he touched. May you all keep in touch and close to each other, for life may be short, too short for some. I miss you Peffey!!!

How many strands of my life are linked to Jeff Lind? Our Dads were class and teammates, Uncle Wayne frequented our home in my early years. And then Jeff & I became classmates at Lyon's (then Junior HS). Some of my most-fond memories include Jeff and Brenda, and our group of pals climbing the Mississippi River bluffs, searching caves, and playing 'records' with other friends on Saturday afternoons at Deer Creek. Life got busier, and roads took me away from 'home'. Although it has been years since I saw Jeff, his laughter and divine smile are emblazoned in my mind. May the Lind family and Jeff's loved-ones take comfort in memories. Love is everlasting!

His nickname is "Lumps" because of the hits he delivered on the football field. Today, those lumps are in my throat and heart.
CHS class of '75 has lost someone I considered its best all around athlete.
The world has lost a good and decent man.
Mr. and Mrs. Lind, Greg, Laurie, and families, words alone cannot express how sorry I am for such a great loss.
I will remember him always.

I send my sympathy to the family and friends of Jeff Lind. I remember Jeff well: I went to school with him from Lyons JHS to Clinton HS (class of '75). Jeff excelled both academically and athletically. He was a class leader. After graduation from high school I no longer saw him, but from the other online postings I've read it's obvious he was well-liked. May he rest in peace and be fondly remembered by all those who knew him.

You were a good friend and co-worker. We trained many people together for work and outside of work. We shared many laughs and disappointments together, even tossed a few horse shoes in the backyard. You will be truly missed Jeff. My family hearts and prayers go to you and your family!
