I was very sorry to learn of Jeff's passing. He was a great guy with a huge personality, and a fiercely loyal family man. When he was at OSU, he and Sarah welcomed groups of friends at their home on a regular basis... whiffle ball and barbecues on nice days and pizza on rainy ones. I know he is dearly missed by many. Sending heartfelt condolences.

Jeff and I spent many hours, days, months and years plowing thru our studies in the bowels of OSU. And continued our forest partnership in Forest inventory. Great times and lots of laughs while chasing our careers. Prayers to Jeff's family from a friend from the past. Brian McGinley

i did not know Jeffrey but his son drew a dinosaur for me once. His father is a hero to me and spoke many times of Jeffrey and his challenges with cancer and how he would not let this "emperor of maladies" beat him. He became a bass player! i play the guitar and finding a good bass player is a challenge. I believe Hemingway once said "we all die twice-once for us all and the other time when our name is no longer spoken. From all I have read and heard, Jeff will pass only once. As a musician i am a big Beatle fan and a great short song has wonderful words "the love you take is equal to the love you make." I am sure jeffrey took a lot with him! Mike and Corinne Campbell
