Jeffrey Roop Obituary
Jeff had a successful career in the HVAC industry and was the owner and CEO of JTR Heating and Air. He led an adventurous life and was at his happiest when on his motorcycle, snowmobile, or boat - he liked to go fast.
He is survived by his two daughters, Alexandra (Jim Reardon) and Samantha Roop, granddaughter, Genevieve Reardon, his sisters Tracey (Wayne Winholt) and Amanda (Jim Dragon), his brother Tony Roop, his dog Finley James, and countless friends and extra "brothers."
We will be holding an open house celebration at Tom and Lorraine's home in Peotone on Saturday, February 18th from 2:00 - 6:00 pm to honor Jeff's life. The address for The Roop's home is 1112 W Wilmington Road, Peotone, Illinois (big blue house right next to McDonalds).
Tim & Britt Roberts and Phil & Deona Ashline will also be holding a celebration of life at the American Legion in Three Lakes, WI (1795 Superior St) on Saturday, February 25th at 2:00 pm. Bring your smiles and laughter to share your memories of an amazing man.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Three Lakes Trail Fund, a group dedicated to the maintenance of all snowmobile and recreational trails in the Three Lakes area.

We went snowmobiling and Jeff opened his home for us to stay at, my first time snowmobiling and one of the best days of my life. Thank you Jeff for that experience, you will be missed.

I'm so saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. We've known Hume since his early 20's. He was part of the "Peotone Boys" who stayed at Peyers in Three Lakes. Lots of laughs and stories! Ride peacefully, Jeff. You will be missed. Condolences to your family and many friends.
