Jeffrey Schmidlkofer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 5, 2024.
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Jeffrey Lloyd "Jeff" Schmidlkofer, age 59, our beloved son, father, brother, family member, and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January 28th, 2024.

Jeff was born on November 25th, 1964 in Chilton, Wisconsin. He attended Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, where his passion for music shone through as a member of the Clipper City Shipmates marching band and school choir. Jeff loved to sing and play drums. He was a member of various bands throughout the years.

Jeff was a devoted animal lover, dedicating several years to a veterinary clinic and pet rescue in Sheboygan. His kindness and generosity stretched beyond just furry friends, volunteering his time at Lakeshore Weekend for Milwaukee's Children's Hospital. He will always be remembered for lending a helping hand to anyone. Jeff also spent time bartending, where he was more than just a mixologist; he was a maestro of mirth, bringing a smile to anyone with his infectious laughter, quick wit, and humor. He will be deeply missed by many.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father: Gerald "Skip" Schmidlkofer; maternal grandparents: John and Betty Flack; and paternal grandparents: Edith and Gary Voigt and Alois Schmidlkofer.
He is survived by his mother: Barbara Schmidlkofer; 2 brothers: Brian and Craig Schmidlkofer; sister: Ginger Schmidlkofer; daughter: Hunter Schmidlkofer; nieces: Heather and Mariah Schmidlkofer, and Jade Vigil; and nephew: Logan Schmidlkofer.

Information about a celebration of life will be forthcoming.

Jeff gave me the purest love Ive ever experienced in my life. I told him that his love will last me for a lifetime, but truth is, he gave me enough love to last all eternity. Its not goodbye my king, you said "YES" with lots of happy tears running down your face when I proposed and Im holding you to that. We are going to the same place, you just beat me there. You always said I was your angel, but now youre MINE! I will see you there my love.
No one who steps on this earth will ever compare to Jeffrey Llyod Schmidlkofer. I love you Jeff, I will see you when I get home.
Forever Jeffs Angel

Jeff and I went to Lincoln High School together. Others were doing bleach burnouts in front of JFK so I decided to try on my Chrysler Newport (a BOAT haha!) He was with me, encouraging me and it was fun! I sure wish I had seen him before he passed; I hadn't seen him since 1982
