i knew jeff schwarz growing up in zionsville ind.he was a year older then me and we played on the basketball and football teams together.jeff was always nice to me and treated everyone with respect and was always making jokes and a great guy to be with in the locker rooms. i was shocked to hear of his passing and my heart felt condolences go out to his family for their loss.go iu

Like a bucket of ice dropped over me, was the feeling I got when I learned about Jeff passing. Has been years since I last saw him or talked to him, but is one of those people you will never forget. Jeff and Jack believed in me when a lot of people didn´t, powerful people in the company didn´t, but they saw ME. I will forever be grateful to him and Jack for letting me feel like I was capable, in an industry where women are often overlooked in operation management rolls. I will always remember Jeff with affection and gratitude. He was a great human being.

The Deakin family is keeping the Schwarz family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I met Jeff as a FIJI Brother at IU and as an upperclassman, Jeff was always one that I looked up to. He balanced his academic life with his time at the Fraternity and was simply one of the funniest guys in our house. I will always remember Jeff as one of those rare individuals who could excel at so many different things in life whether that be business, family or simply his strong friendships with others.

The Drook family sends its deepest simpathy & prayers for the Schwarz family. I met Jeff @ Indiana University as his freshman "room frog" in the FIJI house. Even during pledgeship, Jeff could not help but laugh & simply be the funny, loving guy he was on a daily basis. A giving sole, who included many in laughter, may I see him again one day.

It was a wonderful and inspirational opportunity to meet Jeff during the Safety Summit. I enjoyed the opportunity to talk with him and hear his business insight and philosophy. I appreciated his genuine interest in the career journey that brought me to NES.

Dear Schwarz Family,

Terribly shocked at the news of Jeff's death. I haven´t seen Jeff in years but consider it a privilege to have known him. Best compliment to be made is that I worked to emulate Jeff. Jeff kept his cool when the tables turned against him. Even when he was being treated unfairly. He kept his equilibrium while all others lost theirs. A remarkable depth, restraint. I found him attentive and warmly engaging. My deepest sympathies.

I am so sorry for your loss!!! My heart goes out to you, your family & many many friends! I pray time will help to heal, and the memories we all hold dear will keep Jeff ever near!

Jeff Schwarz was a true friend and business partner. There are not many people that can be both with the style and grace that Jeff could. Great times had in Key Largo, FL and Port Mansfield, TX that I will never forget.

I met Jeff almost 30 years ago and had the privilege of watching him grow professionally, as a great businessman, and personally, as a great husband and father. He was funny and smart and a real pleasure to be around.

Jeff always had a way of making the office space feel very relaxed and enjoyable. One fond memory I have of him is when we had recently acquired electric scooters and he was allll over those. I remember sitting at my desk and then my heart nearly jumping out of my chest when he went flying by while making "vrooom" sounds. Will always think back to that and smile.

I will remember him for the perfect blend of "work and play" and always reminding us that it is okay to have fun and spread joy.

The first time I met Jeff when I joined the company, I sat in his office and we talked for about an hour on college athletics. He made me feel like I was so important to him and so special even though he had just met me. It was the best first impression I ever had with anyone. I didn´t know him for long unfortunately, but every time I saw him he made me feel that same way.

Something I will always remember about Jeff is his charisma, he had a special way of engaging with people that made you feel welcomed and like family. May the spirit and soul of his legacy be a beacon of light during these times and many years to come, God Bless to a great man and leader.
