In memory of
Todd Miodek
December 2, 2024
Jeff was one of the first players on our team at Oakland University Club lacrosse from de la Salle; we became very close as we had played together in high school, but more so on this Club team. He was truly the most wonderful person. Very funny, never taking things too seriously and a good friend. I will miss him dearly and unfortunately, the world´s a little dimmer not having people like him in it. Wherever he is, I´m sure he´s making people laugh now as he always did on our lacrosse team. My memories of Jeffrey are from when he was a boy. He was cheerful, smart and funny. He had a goofy sense of humor- always trying to make everyone else laugh. He told "Dad jokes" before they became popular. He had a big heart. He would walk into a room smiling with that toothy grin, happy to see every one. He unwrapped Christmas presents with extreme enthusiasm. He and his Sister Brianne were always the life of the party, they made birthdays and holidays so much fun. And when we watched tv together on the couch, Jeffrey usually ended up leaning on me and falling asleep. These days, I would probably be the one sleeping on him.
Doris, Sal and Brianne my heart is with you. All the way from Texas, please consider yourselves missed, supported and loved.

His spirit on and off the field was truly one of a kind. We'll cherish the memories we've shared and support each other during this difficult time. Let's come together as a lacrosse family to honor Jeff's legacy. Rest in peace, dear teammate. You'll always be a part of our team. #InMemoryOfJeffSerra #LacrosseFamily

Wishing you all peace and comfort in your memories of Jeffrey. We will never forget being rained out of Pilgrimage and him befriending half the people trapped in parking lot by the time all was said and done. He was loved and will be greatly missed. Love to you all.

My deepest condolences go out to the Serra family. I met Jeff when we were freshman at De La Salle and we kept in touch throughout our lives. I considered Jeff a friend. He had a good heart and deeply loved his family. I am saddened by his passing and I've been thinking of him often in the past few days. During this time of grief may you find find solace in the love, memories and good times that you shared with your son and brother.

What I remember most about Jeffery as a child is his big smile, his dimples and his mop of dark hair.
