Jeffrey Starr Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 24, 2024.

Jeffrey "Jeff" Pierce Starr passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 26th. Born on August 19th, 1963, in Mountain View, CA, to Michael and Linnell, he spent his early years in Los Altos, CA. He lived close to the area until relocating to Sacramento a few years prior to his passing. Jeff was an avid fisherman who loved camping and being outdoors. He enjoyed exploring new fishing holes and discovering beautiful nature spots, especially in the Stanislaus and Shasta-Trinity areas. Jeff was well known in the Palo Alto community as 'Starr' at the family-owned Town and Country Village Cheese House, where he had many long-term, loyal customers who visited him regularly. He was a radiant, generous, and kind-hearted soul, with a wonderful sense of humor that naturally drew people to him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Jeff is survived by his significant other, Heather Roberts; his mother, Linnell Starr; his sister, Kirsten Starr; his two children, Kristina and Jake Starr; and his former wife, Anne Starr.

A celebration of life will be held on September 22, 2024, in honor of Jeff, to remember and cherish the memories shared with him. If you would like to attend, please contact Kristina Starr at 408-482-9308.

Starr was an awesome person who made me laugh a lot. He was very mischievous
And together we used to instigate and cause trouble. He is definitely missed. RIP
