Jeffrey Tiraada Obituary

Published by Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary & Cemetery on Aug. 16, 2018.
Jeffrey Ray Tiraada passed away surrounded by his family on August 13, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. Jeff fought an autoimmune disease, sarcoidosis, the last two years of his life.

To Jeff his greatest accomplishment was having his family, starting with his beautiful wife Tara. Jeff and Tara were married February 19, 2000. Jeff was blessed to be a step dad right from the start to 3 darling girls. He and Tara were then blessed with Sara who returned to Heaven at just 3 months old; a few years later they were blessed with Abigail and Zachary. Anyone who has met Jeff knows he's the proudest father to his children, everyone's FAVORITE "Uncle Jeffy", FAVORITE Pop Pop, funniest, craziest brother, cousin, and best friend.

He was born on September 4, 1975 in San Bernardino, CA to Bonnie and Paul Tiraada. Bonnie and Paul later divorced and Bonnie remarried, to Larry Witteck. At the age of 18, Jeff had the privilege of meeting his biological father Randall Hanks and was able to meet and grow close to his family in Oklahoma. Jeff attended school in Bloomington, CA. Jeff loved being a volunteer firefighter and serving those around him. Jeff started working in Las Vegas in the 90's and it was quickly recognized Jeff could fix and keep anything running. Jeff learned his mind and hands were a unique skill set, and continued working in Las Vegas until recently when his physicality didn't allow it.

Jeff was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving in various callings. He and Tara became an eternal family when they were sealed in the Las Vegas Temple on December 28, 2007.

Jeff loved coaching his daughter Abby's softball team, and coached for several years and considers his softball family his own. Jeff also learned the game of rugby and enjoyed coaching and watching Zach play. Jeff loved the fans and the players.

Heaven has him now and enjoying his never ending laughs and smiles.Until We Meet Again.

Jeff is survived by his wife Tara Tiraada, daughter Abigail, son Zachary, 3 step daughters he loved as his own, Kari (Anthony) Brymer, Amber (Mace) Lee, and Charli Monroy, all from Las Vegas; father Paul Tiraada of California, father Randy (Kathy) Hanks of Oklahoma, step-father Larry Witteck of California and In-Laws Lynn & Susan Hymas of Nevada. Sisters- Elaine Tiraada of California and Amy Kay Hanks of Oklahoma. Brothers- Charles (Lisa) Howard of California, Chris (Silvia) Tiraada of Las Vegas, Randy (Jessica) Hanks of Oklahoma. Granddaughters- Aaliyah, Jordynn and Joselyn and grandson- Kairo, and many, many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by daughter Sara Elizebeth Tiraada, mother Bonnie Lynn Witteck, brother Marcus Howard and grandparents.

Friends and family members may attend the visitation on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6pm to 8p.m. and Saturday August 18, 2018 from 10am-11am. The funeral service will follow at 12p.m. All services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7500 Tule Springs Rd, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89131

The funeral home will be Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary and Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, 7024648440.

Jeff was a father figure to me from the day I met him. He taught me SOOO much. The life I live today is almost entirely because Jeff showed me the way. No matter if we had disagreements or were mad at each other, if we needed anything, Jeff would do whatever he had to do to help me. He always called me his son and treated me like one. Our memories together are forever. I'll always miss you Jeffy.

Jeff, his wife Tara and all their children were a joy to have as neighbors. I loved watching them practice sports across the street, always happy always waving and stopping to say hello. Ive missed them since they moved. When my family needed help, he was always there, with Tara by his side. This family will forever have my friendship. Like I said before, yes heaven has a wonderful angel , but we will miss this amazing earthly man horribly. You family is in my prayers. Thank you

Jeff has been a great brother to me. He has served as a role model in the way that a person should live their life. His service as a husband to his wife, father to his children and as a brother has been a great example that we all should follow. He will be greatly missed. I love you brother.

We are extremely lucky to have known Jeff. He was such a kind loving father and a family man and a good example to anyone that was lucky enough to know him. I loved how Jeff was always willing to step in and take a team when our league needed coaches and it was fun to watch how much the girls loved Coach Jeff. He was always so supportive of the softball community and loved watching the game. We will miss you and your giant spirit. We love you Tiraada family! ❤ The Presser Family
