Nikki,
I was shocked to read about your sister in the paper. When I read the name I prayed that it wasn't your sister. Even though I didn't know you well at St. Colman's, I always remember seeing you with your little sister. I could tell, even then, that she had a very sweet spirit. I am so sorry.

Dear Cwynar Family,
Reading the guest book and seeing all who Jen influenced with her smile and spirit must comfort you. I pray two prayers from the book of Paul to the Romans 15:5&6, and 15:13. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy,

Dear Cwynar Family,
My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to your family. I worked with Jen at CVS in Monroeville. From the day that I met Jen I knew that we would become friends. We were very close, and we had lunch together every day. Work will never be the same for me without her. Although I was five years older than Jen, I learned alot from her. Her generous, thoughtful heart will always be remembered by me. Jen was gorgeous inside and out, and those of us that were lucky enough to have known her have truly been blessed. Jen will forever hold a special place in my heart. May she Rest In Peace, and may God Bless Your Family.

To the Cwynar family, I really don't know you guys at a personal level, but I have watched your girls grow up in church. I would watch your family walk into church, and think to myself, my goodness, these girls are so beautiful. My nephew Ben went to Woody High with Jen. As soon as I heard of this tragic accident, I called him. He described Jen as an awesome person. I know your faith is strong. But, as a mother myself, I know your pain is deep. May God Bless you all. With deepest sympathy.

Dear Cwynar Family,
Jen was a student of mine at St. Colman's in my first year of teaching. She was always a quiet and kind student. You should be very proud of her, as I'm sure you are. When I heard about this, I just cried because I remember her and it is just too soon for her to be called to Heaven. I am so sorry that this happened and I pray the God will give you the strength and guidance you need to make it through this weekend, and each day thereafter. I can't even imagine the grief you are experiencing now but know that so many are praying for you and care. - Jessica (Pacacha), Mike and Xavier Wolf

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Cwyner Family,
Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the LORD
Is the death of His saints.
God stays close to use even in death. When someone we love dies, we may become angry, feel abandoned, hurt and just don't understand why. But believers (saints) are precious to God, and he carefully chooses the time when they will be called into his presence. Let this truth provide comfort with the loss of your daughter, sister and my friend and co-worker, a loved one. God sees, each life is valuable to him. Mathew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will.
Praying for your family daily and for all of Jen's friends left behind. She is a bright light now in the mighty presence of Jesus and Jesus will guide each and everyone of you by his grace and mercy. Just believe.

To Jen's Family,
I am Jen Sladek's mother, and live/work at Penn State Bookstore in State College. I was priveliged to meet Jen thru my daughter's friendship with yours. When Jen graduated last Dec, I offered to buy her something ---a Grad T-Shirt, or anything of her choice. Instead, she chose the framed piece of art for You, her parents, which expressed all the gratitude she had, and I knew, felt in her heart. I spoke with her a few times, and you can be proud parents of the daughter you raised. Your Jen is well deserving of God's Grace, and I pray for the comfort that your faith will deliver.
