"The Angels came and there was loveliness, I did not ask and yet I heard, and peace was everywhere." "She was welcomed into Heaven's arms where every day is a celebration of a life that never ends." Unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident, Jen, age 22, of Wilkins Twp. She was a 2005 graduate of Woodland Hills H.S., a 2008 graduate of Penn State University and was employed as an Insurance Specialist for CVS Caremark. Beloved daughter of Donald A. "Don" and Susan M. "Sue" (Salerno) Cwynar; loving sister of Nicole M. Cwynar; dear niece of Diane (Rich) Schilo, Rudy (Rosemary) Salerno, Jr., Philip (Dawn) Salerno, Sr., Joann Salerno, Dale (Patricia) Cwynar, Douglas (Maria) Cwynar, the late Renee (surviving husband Chuck) Watkins; Survived by numerous cousins and all who loved her; also preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Margaret Cwynar, A. Rudolph Salerno, Sr. and Thelma Salerno. Friends received ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 Marguerite Ave. Wilmerding, 15148, (412) 824-4332 on Saturday and Sunday 2-9pm. Service in the funeral home on Monday at 9am followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Colman R.C. Church at 10am. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the Cwynar family suggests memorial contributions be made in Jen's memory be made to the Susan G. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I was a fellow HPA student at PSU and had many classes with Jen. She was such a sweet and intelligent girl. We worked on a few projects together and I always enjoyed her company. The world truly lost a wonderful soul. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sue and Don, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The pain you feel must be unbearable. We face obstacles everyday with our children but never think they will be taken from us. Know that you were blessed by your beautiful daughter even if for such a short time. Jennifer's memories will always be so precious and I hope they help comfort you. I worked with Jen at CVS Caremark and we used to have conversations about Lady Ga Ga. We laughed about her dressing up for Halloween. She was a sweet young lady with a beautiful personality. I am Jen Sladek's mother, and live/work at Penn State Bookstore in State College. I was priveliged to meet Jen thru my daughter's friendship with yours. When Jen graduated last Dec, I offered to buy her something ---a Grad T-Shirt, or anything of her choice. Instead, she chose the framed piece of art for You, her parents, which expressed all the gratitude she had, and I knew, felt in her heart. I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. Jen was such a wonderful person. She was always upbeat and positive, working with her was so rewarding. Everyday I would see her having lunch as I was leaving to go home and her smile would just brighten my day. I will miss her terribly. My thoughts go out to her friends and family.

My deepest condolences to the family of Jen. I played vollyball against her team several times and never once saw anything but smile in her face, I will pray for her soul today in Friday prayer,she will be missed greatly, I am sure she is in heaven.

Dear Cwynar family,
My sincere sympathy in the loss of your sweet Jen. I have fond memories of her from her time with Penn State's Women's Leadership Initiative. I used to see her occasionally attending church as well.
