Jennifer Ann Joseph

HYANNIS — Jennifer Ann Joseph, 32, died unexpectedly in Hyannis on November 19, 2010. She was carrying an unborn son who was to be named Jonathan Daniel Reed Jr. A lifelong resident of the Cape, she was born at Cape Cod Hospital on May 6, 1978. Jen spent her earliest years in Truro and later moved to Wellfleet. She attended Nauset Regional High School and graduated in 1996.

Among her many talents, Jen truly adored being a mother. She was an incredible artist and loved to draw. She wrote many beautiful poems. Jen enjoyed singing, dancing, music and all different arts and crafts. She loved living near the ocean and spending time with her boyfriend, family and many friends.

She will be forever missed by her longtime boyfriend Jonathan Daniel Reed of Hyannis and their 3-year-old daughter Arianna. Jen was the beloved daughter of Arthur Francis Joseph and Jody Ann Joseph of Wellfleet; she also leaves her grandmother Joanne Coats of Brewster, a sister Kathryn Nelson of Utica, N.Y., sister Sarah Bryan and her husband Robert of Eastham and a brother Jesse Joseph and wife Danielle of Brewster. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews nieces and friends.

Jen was also the mother of the late Christopher Eric Bearse Jr. and the granddaughter of the late Arthur F. Joseph Sr., the late Kathryn Joseph of Truro, and the late Gerald Coats of Provincetown.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans, 77 Eldredge Park Way, from 4 to 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Monday, November 29, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Brewster Bible Alliance Church on Route 6A in Brewster. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Wellfleet. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jennifer Ann Joseph children's fund Account #434097058 and can be made at any Cape Cod Five bank location.
