Jennifer Langen 1976 - 2017
LITCHFIELD, IL - Jennifer Elizabeth Langen, 41, of Litchfield, passed away Thursday., May 11, 2017 at 5:35 p.m. in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born on April 11, 1976 in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of Donald Edward and Becky Gale (Budberg) Langen. She was a graduate of Litchfield High School Class of 1994 and obtained her B.S. in Hospitality Services from Eastern Illinois University where she was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority.
She was a member of the Catholic faith. Jennifer loved her pets and enjoyed bike riding and soccer. She was a veterinarian tech in St. Louis and Springfield and was a former sales manager at the St. Louis Hilton – Airport.
She is survived by: her mother, Becky Langen of Litchfield; two brothers, Douglas M. Langen of Litchfield, and Scott M. Langen of Portland, OR; and aunts, Connie (Randy) Budberg-Speck of Springfield, and Irene (Ray) Horcher of Brookfield, WI.
She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Ted Budberg and Shirley (Larry) Fisherkeller; and paternal grandparents, Howard and Ruth Langen.
A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery in Litchfield.
No visitation will be held.
The family suggests memorials to: PAWS Care of Montgomery County, or Montgomery County Animal Control Center.
