Jennifer Lee Perkowski

I also knew Jennifer through the Juvenile Court in Phoenix. I want her family to know (though I'm sure you already do know this) what a kind, cheerful and giving person she was. She really cared about children and animals as well as her family & friends. Jennifer always had a cheerful hello for me any time I saw her at court. I miss seeing her and I am so sorry for your loss.

Words can not express the how sorry I am about the sudden loss of your daughter, Jennifer. I wish I had met her. From what I have been reading, there are endless adults and children's lives that Jennifer spirit has touched (as you also have Stefan). Now her light will be eternally shining down on all of you!

Jenny was such an amazing friend in high school. Although we lost touch over the years, she was always in my heart. She taught me so many things about generosity, kindness and speaking up for others. She was inspirational on many levels. My thoughts and prayers are with Jenny's family.

Jenn was my first friend when we moved to Windermere when I was 8. She was the director in the neighborhood kids movies which were great fun. Another time it was raining, and Amy Bleckinger, Jenn and I shared a half Vermonster at Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop up the street. I have good memories of Jenn. I am sorry to hear of her passing.

It was a pleasure to have met Jennifer she was my grandchildren attorney whom I was going through adopting my two girls she was always cheerful and happy I will always remember her And appreciated her vet much I did end up adopting my girls thanks to Jennifer I will miss her she was also helping me with my grandson I will never forget her

Jenny's smile and laugh play a key role in many of my happiest high school memories. She was a kind, compassionate, and loyal friend. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I was stunned and saddened to hear of Jenny's passing from my parents, who saw her obituary in the Buffalo News. I have so many great memories of Jenny dating back a long way, as you know--she was my companion walking to elementary school, shooting 'movies' with your camcorder, and playing 'ghost in the graveyard' with the neighborhood kids on summer nights. While I lost touch with her over the years, those memories were always close to the surface. Reading about how she touched so many kids' lives in the juvenile justice system is truly heartwarming. It sounds like she made great use of the time she had on this earth and it is a great shame she was taken from it so soon. I am so sorry for your and David's loss, and for the loss of such a caring, compassionate individual like Jenny.

As many of her colleagues have stated, Jennifer was a caring energetic and highly competent attorney who gave herself fully to her clients and her profession. Jenny was a wonderful person. She was always smiling and happy. I worked with her when she was a bailiff in the juvenile system and then when she became a lawyer and came back to juvenile. I'm sorry to hear about her passing. She will be missed Greatly.

My heart aches for you. I know how much you love Jennifer and I'm so sorry.

Jennifer Perkowski was such a kind, caring person. When I was studying for the LSAT she decided to give me private tutoring lessons at a reduced price. The cat that I hated would come up and greet her and she would pet him. I knew that she loved cats, even though she was allergic to them. I think that it is sad when we lose such kind and caring people. I know that I will miss Jennifer a lot.

I worked with Jennifer at the Attorney General's Office. I am especially blessed to have called her my friend. She had such a kind heart. Jen, I will miss you and that beautiful smile. My prayers are with the Perkowski family.

Jennifer was a wonderful person. Jennifer always went out of her way to help others. On our last interaction, Jennifer was hauling in water and snacks on a very hot summer day. Jennifer was doing this for all the people that walked through the Southeast Doors that maybe hungry or thirsty. This just a little tid bit of her really good heart that she shined on everyone at Southeast Facility. I will miss our conversation about crocheting and will hold on to the fact that she is likely watching down over all of us. God Bless her family during this trying times.

What a tremendous, joyful and sharing spirit Jennifer ALWAYS had! She was always there for me at the Attorney General's Office and I know I'm not the only one who was the recipient of her generosity of spirit. You will so be missed my friend.

The room lit up when Jennifer came in. She had such positive engery it was contagious. She did not liked to be called perky but she was always very pleasant and a pleasure to have on a case. Her caring spirit will be missed. I first met her when she was with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. I remember how excited she was to get a Volkswagon Beetle. I saw her again almost on a daily basis at the court house when she worked as Attorney for Child. You could tell she really enjoyed her work. God Bless.

Jennifer's joyful personality brightened many people's days. May her voice continue to be heard in the laughter of children, her spirit remembered in the wag or purr of a loved one.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jennifer during the last few years. She truly enjoyed her work as an advocate for the children that needed a voice in our courts and you could see that through her happy demeanor each and every day. She has a heard of gold and always wore a smile on her face. I will never forget the last comment she made to me on friday afternoon! She will be missed very much! I had the pleasure of working on many cases with jennifer over the years in juvenile court. She was never afraid to stand up for her beliefs and clients. She was a beautiful person who treated everyone with respect and i am better for having known her. So sorry for this loss and please know she was respected and cared about by many.

I am so saddened and shocked at Jenny's sudden passing. She was an active and diligent Guardian Ad Litem for the children under her care, and made the extra effort to 'connect' with them. Jenny was ALWAYS one of the first to respond anytime one of her colleagues needed help in managing their case calendars. Jenny put together a book of resources for our clients and each other, to help us do our jobs the best we could. We need to keep adding to that book, folks, find a place to put it, somewhere it can be used -- I think it's marked simply 'Jenny's Notebook' and, should continue to be called just that. But what I will miss most is what Tim Nelson said above -- her infectious laugh. Jenny, you were always smiling, always pleasant, every day seemed a new adventure which you were eager to experience. Jennifer was a fierce advocate for those without their own voice: children, veterans, the homeless and animals. In addition, she was just a terrific human being. Her loss has left a void in our community and we will miss her dearly.
