Jennifer Ray Obituary
Born on April 7, 1974 Jennifer spent her early years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from LaSalle High School before relocating to Des Moines where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Over the years she held various other positions during her time in the city.
Jennifer is survived by her mother and stepfather, Carmel and Mike Cantu; her aunts Molly Molony and Chris Engel (Dennis); and her first cousins Liz Berger (Ted) and Nick Engel (Cam).
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Jennifer's friend Trish for her support during this difficult time. They also wish to thank the compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff at Mercy One Hospital and the Mission Blood + Cancer Center for their dedicated care.
In honor of Jennifer's memory, donations may be made to your local animal shelter or to the Kiya Koda Humane Society in Indianola, Iowa (https://www.kiyakoda.com).
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
