Jennifer Juniper, hair of golden flax...
I remember Jen as a little girl crying when she heard her name being sung on the radio. Now I will be the one crying.
Do you like her ? Yes, I do, Sir. Would you love her ? Yes, I would, Sir. Whatcha doing Jennifer, my love ?

How I remember the kindness and true positive loving spirit of Jen. Many of us are just finding out about the passing of Jen now (her IUP cohort) and are saddened by the loss on earth of a true Angel.

I just heard of Jennifer's passing and my heart sank! We attended the CCAC/IUP Urban Elementary Education Program to earn our degree in Elementary Education. I recall her energy and dedication. I'll never forget when she dressed as Princess Diana for a classroom project. She was stunning, intelligent, and dedicated. Be in peace and know you made a difference in this world!

To Jenn's family and friends,
I am SO sorry for your loss of Jennifer. I went through the IUP Program for teaching with her and I used to tease her. I, being a non-traditional student, (older), I probably am the age of her Mom. She certainly was a "star" and such a talented teacher! I remember her being so kind, a good listener, and of course when she presented any lesson plan, it was excellent. I am glad she got to teach and from what I read impacted many students and parents. My thoughts and prayers go to you ALL. May this beautiful young lady, so gifted and talented, but only with us for a while rest in peace in our gracious, merciful, heavenly Father's Hands in Eternity. I am better for knowing her and learning with her.
Blessings to all of you.

I had a wonderful experience of meeting Ms. Staley at a School function, an evening of reading (can't recall the exact name of the school event). But Ms.Staley read a book titled STRAWBERRY FRECKLE FACE. She dressed perfect for the main character in the book. I loved every moment that I spent with her and after the event, I told her that I have a redheaded daughter who must have this book, even though Taylor was 15 years old at the time. So Ms. Staley gave me all of the print outs for Taylor that she had used as props. I bought Taylor the book and even to this day those written props hang on Taylor's bedroom wall. I so muched loved the smile of Ms. Staley.

Jennifer and I worked together every day for many years teaching first graders to read. She was a talented and dedicated teacher who cared for her students. Her presence will be missed greatly in many of the classrooms through SSES. But I will also miss her warm heart, contagious smile and her long lasting patience. My hope and prayer is that Jennifer is resting in the arms of Jesus.

Jen, my best friend...will the passing of time bring solace to our heartache? I'd like to think so, as I know that's what you'd wish, but I know better. This great loss we must face is without equal. You really are a shining star, as others have aptly recognized; it wasn't a hidden quality. In your short life you have achieved so much and I have always been proud of you, I hope you knew your value to me. May your spirit, at last, be at peace.

You will be missed by many students. She was a wonderful teacher to both of my sons and I can't get the strength to tell them about this. A very dedicated teacher to her students and took the time to care about each individual student. We will miss you, Jen.

What a beautiful and talented lady. I know there are no words that will take away your pain of heart, but may knowing that there are others who really do care give you all a measure of comfort. May God who see your tears and hear your prayers give you all the endurance to go from one day to next.
