Jennifer Lynn Steer (Cannon), 42, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2025, in an accident, taken from this world far too early. She was born on April 13, 1983, in Winter Haven, Florida, and raised in Lakeland.

Jennifer attended Lakeland Senior High School and graduated from Mulberry High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in criminology from Florida Southern College in 2006. In the 2010s, she moved to Key West, where she found joy and embraced the fun of island life. She later settled in Pensacola, where she met and married her husband, Joseph Steer Sr., on August 20, 2023.

Jennifer is loved and remembered by her family. She is survived by her husband, Joe Steer; her mother, Donna Wilson; her father and stepmother, Alex and Joy Cannon; her brother, Alex Cannon (Iris); her sister, Kayla Martin (Rob); three nephews; two nieces; and her two dogs, Thor and Willow; and many other family members.
