Sad to read that Mr. Rhinerson has passed...so many great memories you all must have.
Miss those days growing up in Reading with the family from Wisconsin....thoughts and prayers with you all.

We became acquainted with Norbert when he and Alma moved to Berlin, VT. In this small community he soon became well-known and well-liked. Our paths often crossed whether at the town office or the grocery store, always friendly with a smile and conversation. We so appreciate his contributions to our town, through the Historical Society and more. He is surely missed. Our condolences to his family.

What a very kind man, what a very profound loss. I met Norbert and Alma when they volunteered as delivery drivers for the Vermont Foodbank many years ago. A kinder, sweeter couple could not be found. My sincere condolences to Alma and the entire family.

I grew up in White City Park in Kaukauna Wi. The Rhinerson house was always active with kids, Guinee pigs, a couple of hidden snakes and fun. I remember when the family moved out East and always think of them when I drive by their old house. I'm so sorry to learn that Jean and Al had passed and now their Dad. They may be gone but the wonderful memories will always be in my mind. My deepest sympathy to the family.

I met Norb when I was researching for my book about a Berlin resident, Addie Crandall. He helped to provide me with so much historical genealogy which enabled me to discover Addie was married to George Crandall, who is an ancester. Norb had the kindest personality. Always ready to answer questions and from my standpoint, he loved history, which enable me to connect with so much information for me. I am so thankful to God for meeting him. I'm sure the Historical Society misses him. Praying God's blessings on his family at this time. Joyce Pelletier, Colchester, VT
