Jenny Lee Schmitt Greer

Jenny Lee Schmitt Greer, 58, was born on April 16, 1957 in Paris, Kentucky and passed away October 23, 2015 in Austin, Texas. Jenny was a special mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to so many. For much of Jenny's life she was filled with energy and laughter, and had a great quality of making others feel special. Her greatest pride and joy were her two daughters, Shelby Lee Greer and Whitney Blythe Greer. Jenny graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a nursing degree. She was a practicing RN and had great compassion for her patients, young and old. Jenny loved the joys of life – spending time with friends, laughing, traveling, and of course seeing her girls. She faced adversity in her later years, but will forever be remembered for her big heart, generous spirit and loving nature. Jenny is survived by her daughters, Shelby and Whitney; Mother, Frances Schmitt; Sister and Brother in law, Nina and Dale Aldridge; Nieces, Adrienne Lindsey and husband Josh, and Aubrie Kudrick and husband Steve; two great nephews, Shawn Lindsey and Jake Kudrick, and great niece Taylor Lindsey. Jenny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Weed-Corley-Fish Leander Chapel.
