Beloved husband for over 60 years of Judy Oppenheim Much. Loving father of Andrew (Karen) Much, Karin (Mitchell) Shapiro and the late Ross Much. Proud grandfather of Rachel Much, Ethan Much, Hannah Much, Jonathan Shapiro, and Emily Shapiro. Devoted brother of Morrie (Janet) Much and the late Sara (the late Milton) Kanter. Cherished brother-in-law of the late Dr. Joel (Dr. Susan) Oppenheim. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and business colleagues. Longstanding real estate developer in the Chicago area. Service Friday, June 28, 2024, 10 AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. I never met Mr Much in person but had one conversation that I will share with you. He was driving to Michigan City with his wife and called me after a number of attempts to reach him. He was kind but direct with his approach and help shed light on getting into the billboard and cell tower industry. I appreciate the time he gave me and want to provide an update: 1 billboard in the books and 1 cell tower in the works.
