Jerald Warren Nebergall, 88, of Tipton, Iowa, died Friday April 27, 2007, at Prairie Hills Assisted Living, Tipton, Iowa.Visitation is Sunday, April 29, 2007, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Funerals services are Monday, April 30, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in South Bethel, Tipton, Iowa. A memorial has been established. He is survived by his daughter, Ferris (Harold "Red") Davis, of Tipton, Iowa; son, Bryan (Beverly) Nebergall, of Winfield, Kan.; stepson, Kenneth (Ruth) Haverland, of Sterling, Ill.; sister, Freda Nebergall, of Tipton, Iowa, grandchildren, Bernie Fulmer and husband, Joe, Dawn Martin and husband, Curtis, Melissa Davis and husband, Scott Barber, Lonnie Nebergall and wife, Robyn, Laurie Wendt and special friend, Raymond Gottschalk, Lorane Voss and husband, Perry, Lanett Meyers and special friend, Daryl Siefers, Janice Ryan and husband, Mike, Daniel Haverland, Gary Haverland and wife, Monica, Vickie Gerdsen, Danny Gilbreath and Danny Gilbreath; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Velma, on December 5, 2006, three brothers, William, Lloyd and Verl Nebergall, three sisters, Irma Nebergall, Eleanor Purviance, Anna Nebergall, great-grandson, Caleb Nebergall, great-great-grandson, Zane Ryan.
Jerald was born December 9, 1918, in Cedar County, Iowa, a son of Charles Anthony Nebergall and Nettie Mae Chapman Nebergall. He attended Union Country School. He farmed until 1968 then worked for Keller's Furniture.
He was a member of the Tipton United Methodist Church, and the Tipton Moose Lodge.
