Jeremiah Bullock Jr.

Jeremiah (Jerry) Bullock, Jr., also known as (Junnie), was born May 8, 1945 in Wilmington, DE. The son of the late Jeremiah Bullock, Sr. and Reba L. Bullock, departed this life peacefully Friday, August 9, 2013 at Delaware Hospital For The Chronically Ill. Jerry received his education in the Wilmington public schools, where he mastered track and field. He was employed for May Flower Moving Company for many years. In 1976, Jerry received a life threatening injury. But God had another plan!! Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Ellen (Roberts) Bullock. God blessed them with three sons, Jerry Roberts, Kevin Bordley and Troy Bullock. Jerry had many tests in his life – but God!! God always blessed him to come through them. We would say to him, "Boy you must have nine lives." When he was in good health and you needed him, he was there – late but always on time. He and Bob Johnson in that big May Flower truck, would come to the house, "What do you need?" he would say. Jerry loved his family. The only male child in the family, Jerry was so protective of his sister. He would say it's his job to protect his sister. Jerry loved spicy foods and wanted hot sauce on everything he ate. He also loved pig feet, the bigger the feet the better – with lots of hot sauce. Raised as a Christian, Jerry always remembered his roots. He would often just say the word God and point a finger up to heaven and smile. He knew he was blessed - he had his own relationship with the Lord. Jerry made peace with the Lord a long time ago. He would sit everyday for hours listening to gospel music and just smile. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Sr. and Reba L. Bullock; sons, Jerry Roberts, Kevin Bordley and Troy Bullock; daughter, (real name)Poochie; sisters, Mary Shepherd, Ruth and Stella Bullock. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Ellen Bullock; daughters, Toni Jackson, Tawanna Brown and Trenna Lee; sons, Jerry and Terry Lloyd; sisters, Marcella and Selina Bullock; 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; three aunts, sisters-in-law, Ernesteen White (Bishop James O. White), Geraldine Rasin; devoted cousin, Debbie Bullock; devoted brother in Christ, Donald L. Johnson; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that love him dearly.
