I learned how important it is to laugh and have fun every moment you can

My name is Meg and my son, Eric and Jeremiah have been friends for decades. I cannot be there today but my heart is there. Because of that friendship, I was fortunate enough to get to know Jeremiah over the years. He could always make me laugh, he was always the first to offer to help with ANYTHING, he loved talking about his kids and their talents and how they could usually outsmart him. Jeremiah was a Proud Papa!
I will never forget how many times he would unexpectedly show up in my front yard after a big snowstorm with his shovel and dig me out. Sometimes he wouldn´t even let me know he had been there. And often it was after he had a full work day. Never expected anything in return but would occasionally let me sneak something into his coat pocket.
He had a wonderful and playful sense of humor and not afraid at all to poke fun at himself. He and Eric were pretty aggressive in-line hockey players and no one wanted to see the two of them coming straight at them! I was lucky enough to catch a few of their games and I think they each had reserved seats in the penalty box!
I will miss Jeremiah more than I can describe. I know Eric will have more to share at today´s service. My love and prayers go out to his entire family. He was one of a kind in the best possible way.

He was an all around pleasure to be around. Very nice and willing to help any one down on their luck. He was a pleasure to have at my work, when he would play darts or just hanging out. He will be greatly missed

One of the best memories I have of Jeremiah is playing Bingo at Modern Woodmen. He somehow got a lot of Bingos, and had even switched a winner card with me because I didn't get a Bingo in awhile and kept getting close. He was so easy going and could make you smile. I'll miss you Bingo Buddy. Love and Prayers to all his family .

My sincere condolences, Even though I haven´t spoken to Jeremiah for a long time I still think of him and tell stories to people I know now about him. It was an honor to work side by side with him for several years. He will never be forgotten. My heart and prayers go out to all of his family.

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I sadly only knew Jeremiah for a very short time, but and blessed to have made such a great friend. A funny story... I believe he saved both my sisters and I from a trip to the emergency room, as he was on his way home from a long day at work and seen us girls all in the driveway, contemplating on how to cut down a problem tree limb that has partially broken and was possibly going to do alot of damage to windows... both house and vehicles. He was quick to break out his saw, climb way up on that ladder and take care of it for us. That's just one selfless act of many I witnessed in the few short months I knew him.. God be with all his family and friends. Gone, but never forgotten.

My first memory of him is when I was very little, he would pick me up and walk me on the ceiling.
