Dear Dad,
It's Jeremiah. your son, but of course you know that.... I'm slowly going through the healing and grieving process of your passing. My birthday is coming up. It will be the first one with out you, well without you calling me or sending me a letter. I love you so much and it is so hard to believe that you are gone, Not a day goes by when I don't think about you, Jacob, The house on Manzinita. I miss you so much. I love you, I'm trying to make you proud.

I can't believe just over a week ago we were talking about the kids, life and all the ups and downs it brings. Jeremy you were such an incredible person and friend that impacted so many lives in a positive way, I am so grateful I was able to tell you that before you left us. So many happy memories have you and the boys in them, those are the memories I'll hang onto. You will not be forgotten but will truly be missed by many.

I remember that smile you always seemed to have on your face. It was kind of mischievous. I wish I knew the man you grew up to be but I do have the memories of us growing up. My heart is so beyond sad. You're so greatly missed. I regret not being closer as we got older. One day we will see each other again.

This is so difficult to believe that your baby has passed. I ache for you and prayers are sent daily to help you with this sadness. My beloved son Jeremy, when I think of the pain and sadness you endured my heart truly breaks. The light of love shone so bright from you that we never knew the depths of your sorrow. How many young men would raise two small boys on his own? You loved your family more than yourself, always giving. I loved seeing you every week. Sharing a meal, laughing, playing horse or badminton in the pool. Any project I needed help on you were always there. I miss you more than you can ever imagine. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing I will see you again. Save me a place close to the throne. Love you Dad.
