Jeremy Patrick "Buggies" Herchak

Jeremy Patrick Herchak, affectionately known as "Buggies," was called home by God and reunited with his parents on September 13, 2024, at the age of 38. Son of the late James "Jimmie" Herchak and Patricia A. "Peppi" Finn of Myrtle Beach, SC, he was born on March 17, 1986, in Austin, TX. Jeremy's intelligence, wit, and kind nature touched everyone he met. His charming personality and big, beautiful smile could light up any room and bring laughter to all who knew and loved him.

Jeremy was a sports enthusiast. From his high school days playing football and tennis, to his love for the ocean and surfing, he embraced each activity with passion and dedication. He not only enjoyed these sports, but also shared his skills with others, providing tennis instruction and spreading his love for the game.

He leaves behind loving uncles and aunts, Maj (ret.) Thomas A. Finn III (Grace), Kathleen M. Finn (Glen), Timothy A. Finn (Ina), James G. Finn (Maureen), Regina Herchak, and Joseph Herchak; along with his beautiful young children, cousins (tuzins), and loving friends. Jeremy was preceded in death by his parents James Herchak and Patricia A. Finn, uncle Michael F. "Unkie" Finn, aunt Mimi Caputo, and grandparents SMSgt Thomas A. and Eleanor Brislin Finn and Walter and Mary Herchak.

Details of the memorial services are still to be determined. The Myrtle Beach Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time. Jeremy's legacy of warmth, laughter, and kindness will be cherished and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. We will miss Huggies from Buggies, and will love you (Lalu) always!
