RIP Jerry
Annie Kayser & Emily McNeil from Fox Chapel Adult Ed Program
July 17, 2025
Jerry was so wonderful and full of life. He was the swimmer at Fox Chapel Adult Ed. that took over 10 minutes to get into the water because it was cold. We all loved Jerry, his personality, his stories, his jokes. Everything about him was special. We loved going to the FWGS in the Waterworks and getting hugs and wonderful tips about wines, food and great music. He will be sorely missed.

Jerry was the most genuine, kind, and loving person that I've known. I am blessed to have known him and call him my friend. It's way too soon to say goodbye.

I was lucky to get to know Jerry starting at the Cranberry wine & spirits store and kept in touch when he went to Fox Chapel. He was so great to be around, such a lovely, positive spirit. Sweetest guy ever. His spirit lives on. I´m sorry for the family´s loss, and for all our loss.

The photo was of the "Wine Crew" at the Bordeaux seminar in Philadelphia which just one of many great days I spent with Jerry. He was such a student of wine analyzing each one and carrying that experience back to his customers. His love of Italian wine was deep as was his family heritage. We shared many spirited conversation discussing which were better, French or Italian wines. In the end we both grew to appreciate each other´s tastes and point of view. I´m so sad to see you go but I know you are sampling all the best vintages up in heaven. Rest in piece, my friend.

Jerry, you have made myself and family better because we know you. You have touched our hearts more than you will ever know. Your smile and laughter was contagious and a sight I will forever remember and cherish. The love you showed Elijah helped create a kinder child and that I am forever grateful. What you have given me is more than anyone can ever write about or repay but what I will do is be kinder be more appreciative and love harder. Thank you for all the love and memories, until we meet again my friend keep sipping the wine and dancing
always, Kelly

I was blessed to get to know Jerry over the last few years. We shared a huge appreciation for the Pink Panther movies. He was a kind and funny man. I think the world is a little dimmer without him in it. Jerry you will be sorely missed.
