Jerome Pope

Dr. "Jerry" Pope was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin in 1939 and was the son of Helen and Dr. Carl Pope.He grew up in El Monte and Arcadia Ca. and graduated from Cal State LA and Loyola, Chicago dental school. Jerry spent two years active duty in the Navy. First at Treasure Island and then aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hancock in the Gulf of Tonkin.Jerry practiced dentistry in Walnut Creek for 34 years before retiring and his son Scott took over the practice. He loved dentistry and found he missed it so he bought another practice in Clayton and was there for 9 years.Jerry and Gail have been married for 58 years and been blessed with 3 children and 8 grandchildren.They were members of Round Hill Country Club for over 45 years and treasure the many friends and good times shared there.
