Jerome Radosta Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 26, 2024.
Jerome John Radosta, aged 35, of Metairie, La, passed away on February 3, 2024 after courageously battling brain cancer. He leaves behind his beloved children, Leo (7) and Gianna (5), who were the lights of his life, shaping him into the best version of himself.

Jerome excelled in various video games on different platforms. He dedicated much of his free time to gaming, where he found solace and joy. Though he was an introvert by nature, those fortunate enough to have known Jerome intimately were welcomed into a world of his quick wit and humor.

Jerome graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 2007 and later pursued a career at Leon's Plumbing. After beating his first bout of brain cancer in 2021, and much to the surprise of his physicians, he returned to work and continued studying for his plumber's license. In October of 2022, Jerome earned his Journeyman Plumber's License and continued to work until his second cancer diagnosis in March of 2023.

Jerome is survived by his children, Leo and Gianna Radosta, his parents, Wayne and Terri Radosta, his twin sister, Jamie Radosta, his older sister, Roxanne Radosta, as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins. In addition, he is remembered by Mia Hurst, Leo and Gianna's maternal grandmother, who always supported him deeply, went above and beyond for him over the years, and treated him like one of her own.

Jerome will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
