Monica - I apologize for the lateness of this message. I just found out today that your husband, Jerry, had passed. My condolences. My contact with your husband was infrequent and ended nearly 20 years ago, but he seemed like a neat guy. Hope you and your family are well. Sympathies.

To the family of Jerry Segal I send you an embrace of sympathy, a hope for cherished memories forever, and awe reading about such an incredible man. Blessings.

What a wonderful man! Jerry moved to Regent Square around 1996 and we became neighbors. He brought with him his smile, warm personality, intelligent conversation, and sheer joy in the little things in life, such as, walking a dog, admiring a flower, kibitzing with a neighbor, and explaining his love of a starry sky. I was leaving my house a few weeks ago, and was invited by Monica to stop in for a few minutes to say my hello's to Jerry. I looked at my watch to make sure I wouldn't be late for dinner with my daughter, and decided to push time for a quick hello. That "quick visit" turned into nearly an hour, as Jerry shared with me his joy of painting, and his knowledge of the solar system. I learned much from him in this short visit, but most notable is that I learned more about the importance of making time when an opportunity comes along to share a precious moment with a friend and neighbor. For this, I am truly grateful! Thank you, Jerry. I will look for your twinkling smile and eyes amongst the stars!
My sincerest condolences to the entire Segal family. I know you will miss his earthly presence in your lives.

What a wonderful neighbor! He always had time to say hello and see how my husband and I were doing. We enjoyed discussing our gardens.
