JEROME SMALLS

Jerome Smalls FLORENCE - Funeral services for Mr. Jerome Smalls will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 at Wayside Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Florence National Cemetery. He died on Monday, October 3, 2011 at his residence after an illness. Jerome, age 56, the son of Theodore Smalls, Jr. and Ethel Mack was born August 17, 1955 in Florence, SC. He attended the public schools of Florence County and graduated from Wilson High School in 1973. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. At the time of his demise, he was enrolled at Florence-Darlington Technical College. He wa s a member of Second Nazareth Baptist Church, Columbia, SC. After returning to Florence, he attended Wayside Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Debra J. Smalls and Dorothy Gene Charles. Survivors besides his mother are: his wife, Patricia Smalls of Florence, SC; daughters, Raseada (Curtis) Simmons and Masheka Smalls of Florence, SC; sons, Brandon Smalls, Jacoby Smalls, Devin Allen of Columbia, SC and Jeremy Lee of Richmond, VA; seven grandchildren; brothers, Stanley T. Mack of Columbia, SC and Horry Mack, Jr. of Maryland; mother-in-law, Bernice Sellers of Florence, SC; a special aunt, Juanita Scott; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
