Although I didn't know Jerry as closely as many of his friends and of course family, I always thought that Jerry was a standup guy. During the last year of his life he spoke to me a lot about his cancer, asking me for advice and guidance. I was happy to give it to him and to talk to him about his challenges. He was always optimistic, but realistic about his struggle. I spoke to him the last time 4 days before he passed. I was sad that I didn't get the chance to go out and have sushi with him as I wanted during my next visit to Saint Louis. I was heartbroken hearing about his passing. His absence will be a great gap in many lives, including mine.

I've known Jerry as a fellow photographer for about 13 years. We met in 2010 at the Studio314 grand opening in the Globe building in St Louis and stayed in touch from time to time as we both worked to continue to work to improve our Photography skills

Jerry was well known in the Midwest for hosting models as they toured thru the area and would host some Photography events at his house.

His Jerry's pool posts always reminded you of the beautiful ladies of all ages he got the chance to photograph at this pool. Other times he would just post the pool was open and for any of this friends to feel free to stop by.
Jerry was a kind person and someone who touched many life's.

The last time I saw him was a photo shoot in late Oct where I had finally got things to work out after many attempts to setup with a model where we did the shoot in Jerry's house. I was editing more photos from that shoot when I opened Instagram to share some photos with the model only to see the shocking news of his passing ..

Dillon I know you have started and have some interest in photography as well.. Sure you dad would be pleased knowing that you would take his gear and continue further your photography.

Rest in peace my friend.

JerBear, you were my brother from another mother. A friend who was there for me through thick and thin for 45 years.
